Learning to scuba dive has never been easier with PADI's internationally recognised training courses.

 


Getting Started

A combination of modern equipment a few simple lessons at our scuba centre allows you to become a privileged visitor to the underwater world. Any person over 10 years of age, in good health (meets medical standards) and able to swim 8 lengths of a swimming pool can learn to scuba dive. 10 to 12 year olds can attend scuba lessons but must be accompanied by parent or guardian.


PADI Referral Course

Everybody starts with five theory and swimming pool modules. You attend I module per week on Tuesday evenings (6-9pm). Our instructors combine fun-filled integrated theory and practical sessions each week. You will work on a one to one basis at your own pace with your instructor to build your scuba skills and confidence. Cost for the PADI Referral Course includes:

  • Manual
  • Training
  • Scuba Diving Equipment use 

 
PADI Open Water Dives

To obtain your PADI Open Water Certificate you need to complete four training Dives. If you only want to dive in tropical waters on your holidays you can complete the dives at a warm water centre of your choice. If you want to be a sports diver in UK waters then we offer the four training dives at our Scottish West Coast Centre. The sheltered waters full if interesting marine life and ideal for beginners. 

Continue your scuba diving with PADI's internationally recognised training courses. Y
ou can choose one of PADI specialised Scuba Diving Courses when you have completed your Open Water Certificate. There are lots to choose from and we are happy to advise you about those suitable for the type of diving you would like to do.


PADI Adventures in Diving

This course is recommended if you are going to continue diving in UK waters and compulsive if you are thinking of joining our Dive Club. This course offers training options ranging from simple instructions to more challenging underwater activities and experiences. Scuba experience offers a diving programme which includes; Boat Adventure, Deep Adventure, Dry Suit Adventure, Underwater Navigation Adventure, Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure and Underwater Naturalist Adventure.


PADI Rescue Diver

After completing PADI Adventure in Diving you're able to begin the Rescue Diver Qualification. It teaches you emergency prevention, intervention and management. This course is one of the most challenging and rewarding you can complete as a diver and we would recommend this course to anybody who takes their diving seriously.


PADI Specialty Courses

After your Adventure in Diving or Rescue Diver courses you can take a series or specialty diving courses. Scuba Experience Leeds offers a variety of specialty courses and will be happy to advise you which course or courses would be suitable for you to expand your diving horizons.
